Accommodations
Days 2 - 3
Nairobi

Fairmont The Norfolk
Select a different image from the previews below
Fairmont The Norfolk Hotel has played a leading role in Kenya's colorful history, and continues to be Nairobi's finest and best-known luxury hotel. The town and later the modern city of Nairobi grew up around The Norfolk hotel, which still has its own private tropical gardens. The hotel is still the traditional starting point for safaris and the Lord Delamere Terrace is modern Nairobi's most famous meeting place, where drinks and light meals are served continuously from morning until midnight. The hotel was expanded and renovated in time for its centennial, which it celebrated in 2004. The hotel now offers accommodations in 165 guest rooms and suites, a heated outdoor swimming pool, health club with gym, sauna and steam room, beauty salon, book shop and gift shops.
Days 4 - 5
Amboseli

Porini Camp
Select a different image from the previews below
Accommodation is at Porini Camp, within the Selenkay conservation area. The facilities include 9 spacious guest tents, comfortably furnished and with en suite bathrooms including shower, wash basin and flush toilet. Tents have solar-powered electric lighting. The camp is small and is on the lines of the traditional luxury safari camp, but with more comfortable bathroom arrangements than were available to the big game hunters of earlier years! The camp provides an exclusive experience catering to a maximum of 18 guests at a time. All transport on this safari is in a specially designed open-sided Landrover 4 wheel drive safari vehicle. Going on safari in a 'proper' safari vehicle gives a far better safari experience than traveling in the minibus vans with window seats used by other tour operators! And as Selenkay Conservation Area is a private game reserve you will not see any other vehicles or minibuses.
Days 6 - 7
Samburo (Shaba Reserve)

Joy's Camp

An elegant oasis in the arid lands of Samburu; Joy’s Camp is built on the site of Joy Adamson’s tented home in Shaba National Reserve. The site was also home to Penny the leopard, the heroine of her last book. The 10 chic canvas bedrooms are set on raised platforms with breathtaking views of the surrounding hills. The camp overlooks a large natural spring where elephant and lion jostle for watering rights with herds of buffalo and the rare desert species of Beisa Oryx, Reticulated Giraffe and Grevy’s Zebra. Each sumptuous 300 s.f. tent is uniquely decorated with Boran/Somali cloth design, handmade glass and the vibrant fabrics of the local nomadic tribes creating a chic, sophisticated and stylish camp. Each tent has its own private deck, ideal for private game viewing as well as relaxing, reading and soaking up the truly wild environs offered by Shaba. Joy’s Camp is the perfect choice for discerning guests interested in a glimpse of Kenyan history, as well as those looking for an authentic wildlife experience combined with the comfort of a luxury-tented camp.

The camp for those who want that extra bit of luxury. We’ve kept Governors’ IL Moran Camp small and intimate, with added touches that make this the top of the range safari. You’ll be the personal guest of our manager, who’ll look after all your needs. Game drives and game walks are included in the rate and complimentary wine is served with dinner. The camp is situated along the banks of the Mara River, right in the heart of the Masai Mara Game Reserve, with the best game viewing right on your doorstep.
